The laser heat is absorbed by the workpiece material, and the workpiece temperature rises sharply. When it reaches the boiling point, the material begins to vaporize and form a hole. With the high-pressure air flow, with the relative position of the beam and the workpiece moving, the material finally forms a cutting seam. The process parameters (cutting speed, laser power, gas pressure, etc.) and movement path are controlled by the numerical control system. The slag at the cutting seam is blown away by the auxiliary gas with a certain pressure.
